Overview Acute respiratory infections caused by the influenza virus
Infection Route Spread by coughing, sneezing
Symptoms Sudden high fever (over 38 degrees), headache, general weakness, cough, sore throat, nasal congestion, myalgia, etc.
Progress It can be improved with symptomatic therapy or antiviral medicines, but may progress to pneumonia or lead to death.
Vaccination Vaccination every year (between September and October)
