Overview | Acute meningitis and sepsis through the meningococcus |

Infection Route | Propagation through the secrets or secretions of patients or healthy carriers |
Symptoms | Headache, chills, high fever (over 38 degrees) |
Progress | Early antibiotic therapy is important. Death within 24 hours is possible due to progression of sepsis. |
