Overview | Viral disease transmitted to humans via bites and scratches from infected animals |

Infection Route | Spread when an infected animal scratches or bites another animal or human |
Symptoms | Fever, headache, nausea, vomiting, numbness in the bite area, agitation, anxiety, neck muscle cramps, paralysis, coma in progress |
Progress | Once symptoms appear, the possibility of death is very high due to respiratory muscle paralysis. |
Vaccination | 2 doses (0, 7 days), Booster vaccinations if necessary: depending on result of serologic test (for a test interval, consult a doctor) |
