Rabies

Overview	Viral disease transmitted to humans via bites and scratches from infected animals
Infection Route	Spread when an infected animal scratches or bites another animal or human
Symptoms	Fever, headache, nausea, vomiting, numbness in the bite area, agitation, anxiety, neck muscle cramps, paralysis, coma in progress
Progress	Once symptoms appear, the possibility of death is very high due to respiratory muscle paralysis.
Vaccination	2 doses (0, 7 days), Booster vaccinations if necessary: depending on result of serologic test (for a test interval, consult a doctor)
